Eudon Choi

["Haute école "] the purest and advanced component of Classical Dressage; a highly refined set of skills seldom used in competition. For Autumn/Winter 2011 Eudon Choi created a collection of tailoring precise in design and conception yet characteristically utilitarian. Inspired by equestrian paraphernalia, clean sculptured lines and strong silhouettes are effortlessly individual. Mixed fabrications and luxurious panels of leather, Toscana fur and wool cashmere are offset by salient hardwear.

Born in Korea, Eudon Choi initially trained as a menswear designer in Seoul, acquiring an in-depth knowledge of tailoring techniques and a great eye for detail. After 4 years of experience in menswear, he moved to London to attend the Royal College of Art’s MA in womenswear. Eudon was hired as a senior designer at All Saints a year before graduation and his RCA graduate collection was sold at London’s Dover Street Market. In 2008 he became a senior designer at Twenty8Twelve before leaving in 2009 to launch his eponymous label.
