Kirsty Ward

Kirsty's signature aesthetic of blurring the lines between clothing and jewellery is back in full force with oversized Swarovski necklaces and coloured chains draped over cotton dresses and sheer tops. Her aesthetic celebrates bold cuts, defined structures and powerful embellishment. Materials as varied and unexpected as rivets and hinges, often festooned with streams of silk and Swarovski crystals, are often used in her characteristic dramatic pieces.

Kirsty Ward launched her eponymous label in 2010, following the completion of an MA in Womenswear at Central Saint Martin's, for which she gained a distinction, and a career defining spell designing for Alberta Ferretti in Italy. Barely three seasons into her label, she has reached astonishing levels of creativity and induced a whirlwind of excitement among industry elites. Short-listed in the Breakthrough Designer category at the WGSN Global Fashion Awards she has also been named by Vogue.co.uk as a 'Designer to Watch in 2011' and featured in Elle magazine's article on creative rising stars of the future
