Emerging British designer Tope Tijani takes us on a visual journey exploring the transformation of textiles into an accessories collection that stand as pieces of fashion alone. Tope’s theatrical prints are influenced by stripping back matter from their complexity to reveal a minimal yet simplified geometric shape. Prints merge the unknown with inspiration taken from nostalgic circus play to industrial mapping and flat pack forms.

Tope Tijani graduated from Chelsea College of Art and Design with a 1s class honours where she specailised in CAD and screen-print design. Tope now works from her East London studio as a freelance print designer alongside other projects. For this collection she has collaborated with accessories designer Chiara Carnevale to produce a bag and accessories collection.
