My name is Mariella Agapiou. I’m a London born Cypriot, Freelance Writer, PR and Social Media Girl with an unhealthy obsession with platform heels – but those are just some details. What I really love is fashion, especially fashion of the contemporary variety, which is why I’m very excited to be BENGT’s latest Guest Blogger. Discovering new design talent is part of my day job and so when I came across BENGT two years ago you can imagine my excitement. Individuality in fashion can sometimes be an oxymoron, so when you find a brand, designer or platform such as BENGT that gets it right, you have to give them SNAPS!
My own personal style is an eclectic mix of brands, high street and vintage/investment pieces. I like playing with genres and mixing it all together – paying attention to trends, but I think having a personal style is key, and I like watching mine change over time. At the moment I am enjoying mixing East and West London styles together.
